LOVE GONE SOUR !! THE UNTOLD STORY OF GENEVIEVE AND D'BANJ

LOVE GONE SOUR !! THE UNTOLD STORY OF GENEVIEVE AND D'BANJ

She needs little or no introduction in Nollywood. The Queen of Nollywood,Genevieve Nnaji is a hot thespian, not just because of her talent but also for her exceptional acting prowess.

Genny as she is popularly called is one of the thespians who came on the scene over a decade ago and became popular with her good mastery of the craft which was evident in her sound delivery of movies roles.

She has been courting controversies since her emergence in the movie industry, but has remained unperturbed about uncomplimentary remarks flying around her.

Despite the fact that Miss Nnaji has been romantically linked with so many men in the past, she has been trying so hard lately to shield her love life from prying eyes of the media because of the humiliation she suffers in her last relationship.

Last year,Genny was rumoured to be in a sizzling relationship with popular hip-hop star, Dapo Oyebanjo a.k.a D’banj and everyone thought it was altar-bound until the devil reared its ugly head and the whole affair collapsed like a pack of badly arranged cards.

One of the reasons for their break-up is the story of how Genevieve was given the embarrassment of her life by a London based Nigeria babe days before her last birthday.

It would be recall that D’banj and the Mo’hit crew treated Genevieve to a surprise birthday bash in London last year.

We learnt D’banj had earlier hooked up with Genevieve at a hotel and later in the day, took her to a departmental store to shop for a befitting birthday outfit.

According to sources,D’banj over the years he lived in London, has a serious girlfriend.Interestingly,D’banj girl and the girlfriend of his partners Don Jazzy are pals.

While the story was on in Nigeria that D’banj was in romance with Genevieve, the star musician we hear, was denying the fact and telling his London based babe that the story about him and Genevieve was contrived by the Nigerian media and that outside appearing in his video, she was just an acquaintance in the industry.

Nemesis however caught up with D’banj when he took Genevieve to the shop.

We gathered that Don Jazzy also took his own babe on the trip.Insiders say Don Jazzy’s babe must have used her Black Berry to contact the girl who arrived the shop in a fury. What happened next was a blur as she allegedly attacked Genevieve and almost stripped her bare.

We were told that D’banj had to buy another dress for the actress to wear back to her hotel room.

This occurrence is said to be the reason they parted.

Oscars 2012: The Best Hair and Makeup Looks

Michelle Williams

"When I saw the dress, something about that gorgeous color just reminded me of a flower," celebrity makeup artist Angelina Levin told Us of her inspiration for the actress' look. To get the perfect purpley-pink lip color, Levin mixed two shades of Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Colour: Paradis and Destineé
Jessica Chastain

To give The Help star a natural glow, makeup artist Mai Quynh applied mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy topped with mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glo. On her eyes, she used a mix of gold and copper shadows and liner for a sexy, cat-eye effect.

"I wanted to have a little bit of a retro vibe," Suave Professionals hairstylist Jenny Cho told Us of the wavy half-up style, which featured a sexy bump at the crown.

Natalie Portman

"The dress was amazing, so the inspiration for Natalie's look was 1950's old Hollywood glamour," makeup artist Eileen Kastner-Delago said. To get the perfect lip color, she used Dior Rouge Dior in Rouge Favori and Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss in Pink Trench.

Emma Stone

The Help actress wowed with a bold pink eye look. "I took my inspiration from the exuberant bright fuchsia shade of her dress," said Chanel makeup artist Rachel Goodwin.

To make sure her hair didn't compete with the oversized bow on her Giambattista Valli design, Couture Colour hairstylist Mara Roszak gave Stone a large twisted bun, smoothing on Pequi Oil Treatment for a polished look.
Penelope Cruz

From her retro-inspired, faux bob to her classic makeup, the actress' look was pure Hollywood glamour. Makeup artist Matthew Van Leeuwen used Lancome Color Deisgn Palette in Gris Fatale to create the smoky eye effect.

Rose Byrne

The black sequins on Rose Byrne's Vivienne Westwood dress were so sparkly that makeup artist Maud Leceppe opted for a soft smoky eye (he used Nars Eyeshadow in Lhasa and Coconut Grove).

Her glossy bob looked extra chic, thanks to a deep side-part and quickie bang trim from her stylist Harry Josh.
Tina Fey

"We wanted her to look kind of old Hollywood with a modern twist, makeup artist Gita Bass tells Us Weekly of the 30 Rock star's glowing skin and modified cat eye. As for her hair, the actress rocked a super-size updo.

Shailene Woodley

To complement the high neckline on her white Valentino gown, hairstylist Campbell McAuley for Matrix gave The Descendants star a "textured chignon with a Moroccan twist." For all-night hold, he misted the 'do wit MATRIX Design Pulse Hard Lock Hairspray

Sandra Bullock

"I just went for a glamorous movie star gorgeous" celebrity makeup artist Angela Levin told Us of the radiant look she gave Bullock, using Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Enigma and Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Coulour in Mademoiselle topped with Glossimer in Braise.

To enhance the star's shiny brown hair, her stylist David Babaii applied a few drops of his new
Miracle Oil Hair Elixir before blow-drying and creating a high ponytail.
Berenice Bejo

The Best Supporting Actress nominee's heavy lined eyes and fresh skin were inspired by Audrey Hepburn, makeup artist Julie Hewitt said. Her braided updo, however, was totally on-trend.

Stacy Keibler

"She wanted to do something modern and classic," Couture Colour hairstylist Peter Savic told Us of Keibler's side-swept waves, which got a dose of Pequi Oil Treatment for extra tons of shine. Makeup artist Melanie Ingelsis complemented the 'do with smoldering eyes and nude lips.

Justin Bieber Gets Unusual Birthday Present

Justin Bieber celebrated his 18th birthday today, with much love from his fans, followers, friends and girlfriend Selena Gomez who sent some affection his way on Twitter. He even scored some pretty sizeable b-day swag, with his manager Scooter Braun and Usher gifting him a $100,000 electric car called a Fiskar Karma to add to his impressive collection of wheels. The Biebs is even reportedly going to plunk down about $14 million to buy himself a birthday treat: two Los Angeles mansions, one for him and one for his mom. How incredibly sweet! All this said, it was a present that Bieber "unwrapped," not from Gomez, but from American Idol host Ryan Seacrest that really took the cake!
Seacrest, 37, gave the "Baby" singer a Costco membership for his big 1-8. Yes, that's right! "I've known you for a few years and I've been waiting for this moment because there's something I've wanted to give you on your 18th birthday," he announced during his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, as Hollywood Life reports. "It's something that I love. My buddies and I used to use this quite a bit when we were roommates. It's a lot of fun. Think of the endless fun you can have with jugs of salsa and buckets of hummus!"

Gag gift? Well, maybe. Nevertheless, now Justin Bieber can be a part of the club --granted it's definitely a different club than many celebrities are prone to frequent. While Bieber doesn't really need the discount prices the warehouse superstore offers, the membership may still prove useful to him, especially for pantry staples in that new pad of his. And he seemed to appreciate the gesture, telling Seacrest of the present, "It's gonna be amazing. I can't wait." Well, perhaps he was thinking about his new ride and potential new residence, instead?! Or maybe he's heard about the store's free food samples...

No matter, Costco customers, get set for some potential Justin Bieber and maybe even Selena Gomez sightings!

Whitney Houston’s Death: Developing Stories

Whitney Houston’s Death: Developing Stories
The Whitney Houston cause of death was among the hot topics discussed on daytime talk show "The View," when Nancy Grace stopped by to guest host. What did Grace and the other hosts of the show have to say about it all?

While on the show, Nancy attempted to defend her previous comments that Whitney's cause of death was maybe a homicide. As reported by ET Online, her original statement was "We do not know who gave her drugs and alcohol and who let her slip or pushed her underneath the water." The regulars on "The View" certainly tried to pick Grace apart and question her for saying that. However, Grace said to Joy Behar, after being asked if her statements may have "put the family into a tizzy":

I'm sure it's all fun to sit around and throw stones from behind a coffee cup.

Despite the other co-hosts attempts to make Nancy Grace uneasy or to get her to maybe recant or apologize, she did not. She said she was asked her opinion before and when that happens she gives "a direct and truthful answer." She added that she believes there may have been some anger over her original comments because nobody wanted to believe the possibilities, that the Whitney Houston cause of death involved foul play.

So there you have it, Nancy Grace appeared on live television and reiterated what she said before. Watch her on "The View" in the YouTube video below. Do you buy her explanations, and does she have a point, or do you find her comments to be inappropriate?
Whitney Houston is dead and as the days go on, there are more and more stories coming out about the pop diva. The latest is from a friend of Whitney, who claims that she was at the best point in her life when she was involved with a female.
No one has really talked about or questioned Whitney's sexuality since the 1980's, so it seems kind of weird to bring it up now, doesn't it? It's almost as if everyone who ever knew her is looking for a way to get their voice heard and get themselves some free press.
Peter Tatchell, a human rights activist, wrote a message about Whitney, saying:
"Whitney Houston RIP. She was happiest and at her peak in the 1980s, when she was with her female partner. They were so loved up and joyful together. It's important to tell the truth about this aspect of her life. Colluding with the cover-up of her same-sex relationship is not right."
He went on to say that, basically, that she never really wanted to marry Bobby Brown.
"She was pressured into the Bobby Brown marriage. It was a disaster. Her life started going downhill soon afterwards. Perhaps her inability to accept and express her same-sex love contributed to her substance abuse and decline? Whitney's death is a tragic loss of a great vocal talent."

Do you believe that Whitney Houston was a closeted lesbian? Did she feel as though she couldn't live with that secret anymore? It all seems like a lot of BS but maybe Whitney did love a woman at one point. What does it matter now?
Whitney Houston’s Secret Son to Share In her £20million Fortune.
According to reports the late Whitney Houston’s secret son will receive a share of her £20 million fortune.
Whitney Houston who was one of the music industry’s most successful music stars, is reported to have introduced Nick Gordon, 22 into her home in Atlanta Georgia, when she met him as a troubled teen.
According to the Sun newspaper, although Whitney had never formally adopted Nick, he referred to the star as ‘mum’ and was ‘like a brother’ to Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.
A source close to Whitney said: “Nick was family. If he is not written in her will and everything goes to Bobbi it will be because it was written before she took Nick into her family.”
In 20011 Gordon charged with gun possession in Roswell Georgia back in 2011, but according to reports “Whitney wanted to save Nick – even if she couldn’t save herself.”

LADY GAGA

Despite some of her outrageous fashion choices, Lady Gaga has always just been about the music.

Born in March 1986, the New York native (given name: Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) learned piano by the age of four, wrote her own songs by 13 and dropped out of New York University at 19 to pursue music full-time. She signed with Def Jam Records in 2005 but was dropped from the label three months later. To continue to make a name for herself earning the nickname of "Gaga" that music producer Rob Fusari gave her after Queen's "Radio Ga Ga" in comparing her vocal talent to the band's iconic front-man Freddie Mercury she performed in burlesque dance clubs in the Lower East Side.

Interscope Records eventually picked her up, and her debut album, The Fame, came out in August 2008. A slew of No. 1 dance hits followed, including "Poker Face," in which Lady Gaga confronts her bisexuality. In November 2009, she released her second studio album The Fame Monster with eight new tracks -- including her fifth No. 1 hit "Bad Romance" -- originally meant for the re-release of The Fame.

In July 2010, Lady Gaga became the first living person on Facebook to have 10 million "fans.

Alicia Keys' Life as a Mom

Undoubtedly, Alicia Keys is an evolving artist who has claimed ownership of her future. "My music allows me to speak freely," she says. "It doesn't have a beginning or ending because it's an integral part of my ongoing journey." As she progresses in her artistry and life, it's evident that Keys profoundly invests her attention and energy to every commitment she makes. Whether it's producing another platinum award-winning album or serving as an activist in the Motherland, our beloved soul maven is a creative force and will forever be the consummate musician, actress, entrepreneur, humanitarian and philanthropist.

Born and bred in New York's Hell's Kitchen, Keys was strongly influenced by music from all different generations and disciplines including the essential music of Nina Simone, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder; classical compositions of Frederic Chopin, Erik Satie, and Leontyne Price; and urban lyricists such as Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z and the Wu-Tang Clan. Since the age of seven, she received formal training in classical piano and jazz stylings of Oscar Peterson, Fats Waller, and Marian McPartland with her instructor Margaret Pine.

However, it was not until Keys attended the Professional Performing Arts School under the tutelage of Miss Aziza, a bold pianist who wrote and composed original songs, that Keys was introduced to the art of songwriting and producing. Discovered by manager Jeff Robinson at a Harlem PAL when she was 14, Keys performed throughout the tri-state area, anywhere and everywhere she could from tiny clubs to street corners. Two years later, she received a scholarship for and briefly enrolled in Columbia University before leaving to pursue a music career.

Meet Blue Ivy Carter! Beyonce & Jay Z' Baby

Hello! Welcome to the world, Blue Ivy!
Since giving birth less than two months ago, Beyonce stepped out with her adorable newborn for their first public appearance together!
A smiling Bey kept her daughter bundled up and close to her chest as she was seen leaving Sant Ambroeus restaurant in the West Village of NYC.
Jay-Z was also close by (although, not pictured), making sure his two favorite ladies were safe from harm.
Who wants to bet this baby is going to be the most photographed celebaby ever?

It's true!
Somehow, Beyonce and Jay-Z found the time (and a sitter) for a little date night!
The new parents were spotted hitting up a restaurant AND at the New York Knicks vs. New Jersey Nets game in Madison Square Garden!
We wonder if they were feeling the Linsanity!
Probably, but they had to shake it off and return to little Blueafterwards!
So cute!
Hope you had fun, guys!

Beyonce was snapped leaving the eatery holding her newborn in a blue BabyBjorn -- covered fashionably with a black Donni Charm scarf.
Mother and child emerged the very next day; this time, Beyonce held Blue in an exotic leopard-print wrap by Baby Bjorn.

Escorted by husband Jay-Z, the "Girls (Run the World)" singer, 30, took along daughter Blue Ivy, seven weeks, for a casual lunch at Sant Ambroeus in NYC's West Village last Saturday. And Beyonce nursed her little girl at her the table, an observer tells Us Weekly. Two additional sources confirm to Us that the first-time mom has been breastfeeding her daughter

Although the superstar is happily taking some time off to be a mom with Blue at their massive Tribeca loft and Scarsdale, New York mansion she shares with Jay-Z, 43, she's gearing up for two musical projects in 2012 -- and a potential film, One Hit Wonders. The brainchild of Glee creator Ryan Murphy, the musical comedy may star her pal Gwyneth Paltrow plus Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon as faded 90s singers who team up in an effort to reclaim their fame. Beyonce's potential role in the flick is not yet known.
